Perplexus Original, the first-ever 3D marble maze game and world-wide break-out hit, has been nominated today by the Toy Industry Association (TIA) as Educational Toy of the Year (TOTY).
The TOTY nomination is the latest in a series of awards and accolades won by Perplexus this fall which has also included a Disney Family Fun Top Toy Award, a Toy Insider Hot 20 award and a National Parenting Publications Award among many others.

Considered the “Oscars” of the toy industry, TIA’s annual Toy of the Year Awards ceremony celebrates the year’s best new toys. Today’s national press conference in New York City is the official launch of the of five TOTY ballots, one each for Consumers, Retailers (mass and specialty), Media, and TIA members, which will be weighted and used to determine the TOTY 2012 winners.
